EXPRESSIONIST LANDSCAPES: OILS
These paintings are expressions of my excitement about being in nature. Forms are stylized, color heightened and space is flattened to bring immediacy to the experience of the painting, in a way similar to the experience of the place. I hiked in to most of these places with my gear and my painting on my back.
